Also in the article, Gerard Carney, Vice President of Curry and Carney Land Corp., is quoted as saying “Many sellers and (many) of the foreclosure and short-sale owners are now becoming renters. Many do not want to rent, but they will be renters for at least a few years. That said, you can see now why investing in rental properties in this area will do well. We have a large group of people who were homeowners and can no longer afford to be owners. They still need housing and so they will be renting.”
This, of course, is great news for investors looking for cash-flowing rental properties in the Tampa Bay area. This is the perfect storm-low prices, diminishing supply, and high demand. Now is the time to invest in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
